Lorrie will offer a live demonstration of how to place a figure in the landscape. She will answer your questions and discuss the various options and scenarios that may face the plein air painter in the field.

Lorrie B. Turner has been painting all her life. Her subjects include the urban landscape, seascapes, still life, and an endless variety of subjects and environments and more. Painting outdoors or from life is her first love. Originally from NewYork, she relocated to South Florida where she can paint outdoors year round – comfortably. She has been an instructor at the Pastel Society of America School for “Pastels Only”, in New York City at the National Art Club, for several years, and now teaches privately in her studio. She has exhibited her paintings throughout the United States, as well as in Canada, Europe and China, and is included in many private and corporate collections. Lorrie teaches privately, in her studio, gives demonstrations and workshops both nationally and in Europe. She is available to work with you at her location or yours.
